Since 2009, Literacy Network has partnered with St. Mary’s Hospital and GHC staff to produce the award winning English for Health program.

Literacy Network is the lead agency for the United Way’s HIRE Education Employment Initiative. Partners in this initiative include Centro Hispano, Latino Academy of Workforce Development, Madison College, Madison Urban Ministries, Urban League and the YWCA Madison. Literacy Network is responsible for guiding and supporting the collaboration among these partners.

In 2013, we offered more than 1,100 hours of tutoring support to adults in Madison College ESL programs.We have long-standing Family Literacy partnerships with the Dane County Parent Council, Goodman South Madison Library, Madison, Verona, Middleton and Marshall School Districts.

Tutoring programs are held at the Lussier Community Education Center, Boys and Girls Club, East Madison Community Center as well as at our office at 1118 South Park Street.

Literacy Network programs occurred in 28 locations throughout Dane County in 2015.
